Christian greetings!
I have not written a THOUGHT FROM PAULA column for quite some time.  The last one I wrote was correcting Larry King on what "Transgender" means.
Also, progress on my autobiography has slowed down over the past few months.
I do not own a computer of my own.  The apartment building where I reside has a computer room, with four computers for tenants to use.  Over the past six months, (1) A great deal of the time all four computers have been down; and (2) only two of the four computers work at all.  And so, whenever a tenant is waiting to use a  computer, one has to relinquish it within fifteen minutes.  And, often, tenants get boisterous and argumentive (especially during this election year!) -- all of this does not make for a conducive atmosphere for writing a book.  I do respond to emails however.
Many friends have been praying that God will provide me with a computer.  I have had some people offer their old discarded keyboards, monitors, etc., many of which have laid in their garage(s) for several months.  I am not a computer geek.  If a computer is not working, I cannot afford to pay someone $90 an hour to get it back up and running.  For my needs, I need a new computer with some kind of warranty protection.
Recently, a new podcast listener offered to help me, and buy me a new computer.  He fell, resulting in a broken arm and dislocated shoulder which laid him up in the hospital.  He said that as soon as he is able he will have a computer shipped to me, which I selected out of a Dell catalog.  And I know that, in the near future, there will be a package from Dell waiting for me at the front office of the apartment building.  Once I have a computer in my apartment, I will be able to get back to writing my autobiography -- won't have to get dressed, etc., to go downstairs to the computer room, praying that one of the computers will be available long enough for me to answer my email correspondence.  (As I write this, the other computer is in use and any moment someone else could come in -- so, hopefully, I will finish this missive in one sitting).
Recently, I did a one-hour telephone interview with Darryl of the Idol Radio show.  I opened up on some subjects which I rarely (if ever) mention on my tv/podcast programs.  I thoroughly enjoyed doing the interview.  You can download the interview from their website -- www.idolradioshow.com.  Enjoy!
Is there a question (or questions) you would like to ask Sister Paula?  If so, drop me an email and ask the question -- it can be on any subject.  I reserve the privilege of saying "I don't know" (and will try to get the answer), and/or the right to say: "I decline to answer that," without having to give a reason.
We are now entering a new year.  Late December 2007 marked the 20th Anniversary of the SISTER PAULA public access television outreach.  On recent programs, a clip of my early days of public access is shown.
    Two other dates for 2008:
May 1, 2008 - My 45th Anniversary of living as Paula.  I was born July 13, 1938.- At the age of 25, on May 1, 1963, I transitioned my identity from Larry to Paula.  This is a choice I have never regretted.
July 13, 1938 -- My 70th birthday.  Yep -- the "big 7-0" (I tell my friends: "Don't forget to 'surprise' me!).
Daniel, my Producer, is working on a film documentary THE TRANS EVANGELIST.  And, as stated hereinabove, I am working on my autobiography which will have the same title. In early 2005 I survived a near fatal heart attack, and double quadruple open heart bypass surgery.  God spared my life to complete this legacy for future generations.
Enough for now.  Keep the faith!  -- sister paula
